This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
As of late, I've often found myself wanting, lacking a certain something in my life. In my days which are filled with decadence, I find myself wanting something pure, something unsoiled by expectations or responsibilities.
I find myself missing my farm, missing the simplicity of just existing. It's unpolluted air, the untouched beauty of nature. I've needed the clean, purifying wind that carries redemption across every tree and blade of grass it touches.
I've felt lost, simply wandering from one place to the next. I wanted so badly to return to my farm, to suffer the silent days where I speak to no one but myself, and only in thought. To know what it means to know thyself.
However this morning, I've learned an invaluable lesson- one that I hope I will not soon forget, nor ever cease to appreciate.
Getting up for a smoke to conclude another sleepless night, I met with the morning. I stepped outside and couldn't help but wander from one new sight to the next.
Shuffling across the pavement barefooted, across the shattered glass and broken cement- I looked up and caught sight of something I've searched for without any luck.
I saw the beauty of this place.
I saw the trees swaying in the wind, I saw the birds foraging for food, and I saw the distant breeze bring scraps of something I've needed. Redemption.
It wasn't as strong or as pure as the gales of virgin salvation my farm is constantly bathed in, however it was a taste of it- it was hope.
What I learned this morning, What I hope to never forget.
Beauty is not exclusive to any one place on earth, but where you are at any given time.
All one has to do is to see it, with your heart or mind.
